Our Story

Porcupine Media and Design provides local, reliable, and accessible graphic design and digital media services in the Yukon.

We offer a broad range of services to cater to a variety of clients, from individuals and small businesses to local governments and corporations. We use powerful tools including Adobe Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop, Premiere Pro, and Audacity to develop thoughtful and impactful products and campaigns that suit our clients’ needs. 

Porcupines (Erethizon dorsatum) are a beloved Yukon species known for their quills and excellent tree climbing abilities.

Simon was born and raised in Whitehorse, Yukon. He earned his Bachelor of Arts in Sport Media from Ryerson University (now Toronto Metropolitan University). There, he developed skills in a wide range of fields, including live television production, graphic design, audio and video editing, and digital marketing. 

Simon is a retired ski bum and former public servant who spends his spare time snowboarding, playing soccer, hiking, cycling and (slowly) learning to play the ukulele.
